Discover why this family-friendly winter resort located just 10 minutes from Bottineau has been dubbed "The Jewel Above the Prairie". We're in the heart of North Dakota's Turtle Mountains, and once you enter the Turtle Mountains, you're in the center of snow fun.

Bottineau Winter Park sits in the heart of North Dakota's snowbelt, We get the best and most snow that Mother Nature has to offer. But that isn't good enough for us. We want to ensure the best possible snow conditions from opening day until the season ends. Snowmaking machines  produce snow over 100% of the area! - Including the tubing hill and XTreme areas.

We have something for everyone. Enjoy your day skiing or snowboarding on a wide variety of terrain from the beginner's Southside area to ungroomed expert glade runs and race courses, with skiing and riding for all abilities at very affordable prices. Five lifts will speed you to the top to choose from 9 trails while you take in the views of the Turtle Mountain Region.

When you're ready for a break from the slopes, visit Bottineau Winter Park's Chalet where you will find a full service cafeteria.  You may also enjoy sitting outdoors on the adjoining observation deck with your refreshment.

If you are not ready to ski or snowboard, nothing is as easy and fun as sliding down our snow tubing hill or you may want to try the cross-country loop through the woods. Bottineau Winter Park has all the amenities, including full rentals and expert instruction in the latest techniques for alpine skiing and snowboarding, a base lodge and restaurant.

Our exceptionally friendly staff greets you with smiles and has a full calendar of events every week to make your visit fun for your entire family.

Come and enjoy the Jewel above the Prairie!
